Helen is located in the Blue Ridge Moutains on the Chattahoochee River. The city itself is a re-creation of an Alpine Village, linked to the Cherokee Indians and the Indian Burial Mound built in the early 1900's. There are many festivals held in Helen and many attractions as well as activities.
