Russell scenic highway, but when you get to know some of the people, you'll begin to discover a wealth of talent and be amazed by the diverse set of skills in our community.

Above all else, the people here are our greatest resource. We have seven college campuses in Northeast Georgia, a very low crime rate, low property values, lower tax rates compared to the rest of Georgia and a very efficient local government. The Georgia Mountains are ripe for business expansion.

One of the best benefits of working in the Georgia Mountains is living in the Georgia Mountains. The natural beauty just in a 40 mile radius of Helen, GA covers the spectrum of all activities for outdoorsmen and naturalists.

With dominate industries like agriculture and manufacturing the Georgia Mountains can remain a self sustaining region. Tourism is a bonus to our local economy supported by both travelers as well as local traffic throughout the year. Maintainable service sector growth accommodates all other segments of industry and will grow as our economy does.
